I have been into photography for almost 20 years, starting with my Dad's old Chinon SLR, then graduating to a Canon AE1, and finally a Canon EOS. In 2007, I finally made the switch to the digital age and actually went from Canon to Nikon and currently shoot with a Nikon D200.

My equipment currently consists of:

• Nikkor 50 mm 1.4 – great super fast, super sharp lens!

• Canon G9

I went to Texas A&M (Class of ’89) and have spent my entire career in the logistics industry and work for Bertling Logistics, a German Ship Owner and Logistics group. I am also in my 7^th year of teaching at Texas A&M. My family and I live just North of Houston.

I am very lucky in that my work takes me on many trips, both internationally and domestically. The D200 and now the G9 go with me almost all the time and allow me to capture some interesting maritime and logistics related shots.
